Support Student Well-being Through Building Resiliency

Reported by on 1/19/22.

Tuesday, January 25th
7 PM - 8:30 PM

Join PDAC and our community to discuss how stress impacts students' brains and behavior. We will talk about the different risk and protective factors that play a role in how students handle stress and what strategies we can use to build their resilience. Together, we will work to better advocate for our kids— social-emotional needs.

Our discussion will be led by behavioral specialist, Kaitlin Owens. Katlin has a MSU from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. She currently works for the NYS Capital Regional Partnership Center and formerly worked for the Office of Social Emotional Learning and later the Office of Student Equity and Opportunity at Denver Public Schools where she developed and delivered trauma-informed care training
