U.S. Presidential Scholars

The U.S. Department of Education released the names of 161 students selected to the 58th class of U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students. Among the five students in Illinois to receive this prestigious honor are three Waubonsie Valley High School seniors. Congratulations to Rishi Patel, Jaisnav Rajesh, and Piya Shah who were named 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholars in Career and Technical Education. These three students are among only twenty students in the nation to receive this distinction for their academic abilities and accomplishments in Career and Technical Education fields.
